Jennifer M. Kopec Powers, 39, of Midland, GA died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Gentiva Hospice.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Cascade Hills Church 727 54th St. Columbus, GA 31904 with Rev. Michael Gay officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Jennifer was born November 3, 1976 in Wilminton, DE daughter of Daniel and Pamela Parks Kopec of Pine Mountain, GA. She worked as a Process Improvement Consultant for TSYS and was a member of Cascade Hills Church.
Jenn was truly a wonderful person, inside and out. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter and aunt who was happiest when she was with her family and friends whom she loved dearly. Some of her favorite things to do were reading books, watching movies, going to concerts with her friends, and spending time with her niece.
Survivors other than her parents include her husband, Rod Powers of Midland, GA, sons, Brandon Gay of LaGrange, GA and Ashton Powers of Columbus, GA, sister, Erin Kopec Arrington (Al) of Auburn, AL, brother, Stephen Kopec of Houston, TX, niece, Katie Arrington of Auburn, AL, sister-in-law, Michelle Clark of Columbus, GA, niece, Danielle Clark, nephew, Chance Clark both of Columbus, GA, and many aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society 233 12th St. #710 Columbus, GA 31901 or to Gentiva Hospice 100 Brookstone Centre Parkway Columbus, GA 31904.
