Jerry Lynn Christenson, 70, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Columbus Hospice House.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Wynnton United Methodist Church, 2412 Wynnton Rd. Columbus, GA 31906 with Rev. J. Grantham and Rev. Larry Neal officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at a reception that will be held at the W.C. Bradley Co. Museum, 1017 Front Ave., Columbus, Ga. 31901 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, Columbus, GA.
Mr. Christenson was born March 9, 1948 in Columbus, GA son of the late Robert L. and Sarah Estelle Clark Christenson. He was the former owner of Christenson Studios. Jerry was an extraordinary man. He was loved by all and it was his nature to serve and care for others. All were inspired by his kind spirit and quick wit. He taught us to fully enjoy life together as a family! The mere thought of Jerry will give us strength. We thank God for lending us this amazing man.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri K. Christenson, daughter, April Christenson Weed (Greg), son, Lance Christenson (Stephanie), brothers, Terry Christenson and Mickey Christenson, and grandchildren, Walker Hyneman, Adalee Christenson, Barrett Christenson and Olivia Weed.
