John "Bart" Herbert Steed

John “Bart” Herbert Steed, 66, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Columbus with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
John was born April 14, 1958 in Phoenix, AZ son of the late Thomas Joseph Steed and Francis Lane Steed.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Steed of Columbus, GA; children, Patrick Steed of Columbus, GA, Stephanie Steed of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Sawyer Steed, Sadie Steed; siblings, Kathy McCarley of Box Springs, Ga, Tommy Steed (Connie) of Spartanburg, SC; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
