Josephine S. Heath, 89, of Midland, GA died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Dr. Stephen Brinkman officiating. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Heath was born February 25, 1928 in Junction City, GA daughter of the late Joseph Hinton Spinks and Nannie Pauline Nelson Motley. She worked for 41 years as a Floor Supervisor at Toms Foods and was a member of Midland United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Heath and brothers, Robert Hinton Spinks and Earl Carter Presley.
Survivors include her daughter, Nan Day of Midland, GA, sister, Pauline Fredette of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Amanda Everidge (Jeff) of Carrollton, GA and Heath Day (Amber) of Midland, GA, 6 great grandchildren, Hunter, Holden, Hartleigh, and Hudson Day and Jackson and William Everidge, and several nieces and nephews.
