Judy Robinson Booth

Judy Robinson Booth, age 89, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 30, 1937, to B.F. and Myrtice Robinson, Judy lived a life marked by grace, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her devotion to family was boundless; she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who cherished every moment spent nurturing and uplifting those around her.

As a faithful wife and mother, Judy offered endless love and wise advice. Judy was a great caregiver to her husband and sisters during their time with health issues. As a grandmother, she lavished her granddaughters, nieces, and nephews with trips and adventures that included educational, arts and crafts, and snacks that any child would envy. Even at the age of 75, she could be found playing dodgeball with them, a testament to her vibrant spirit.

Judy's role as a sister was marked by a lifelong bond of laughter and support. An avid reader and skilled crocheter, she also delighted in music, playing the piano, and participating in the Church handbell choir. Yet, her most treasured moments were those shared with family, attending every recital, sports games, and performance, celebrating her children's and grandchildren's achievements.

From an early age, Judy exhibited a strong work ethic, beginning her career by keeping the books for Robinson & Booth Construction, the family business. She later dedicated over two decades to civil service. She was the heart of family gatherings, always keeping an open door and hosting countless holiday celebrations.

Judy's memory will forever be cherished by her children, Beverly Yarbrough (Sid) and Maurice Booth; her granddaughters, Kacie Booth (fiancé Chad Blanton), Payton Booth, and Lauren Blanton (Chandler); her brother, Benny Robinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives. Along with her parents, she joins in rest her husband of 50 years, Terrell Roy Booth; her daughter, Terri Ezell; son-in-law, Paul Ezell; and sisters, Virginia Chandler and Rosie Robinson.

Her enduring love is a legacy that lives on within her family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, from 3:00 to 5:00 at the home of Beverly and Sid Yarbrough, with a graveside service at ParkHill Cemetery on August 18 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Upatoi Community Church or your favorite charity.
