Lance Ryan Polk, 41, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Evengel Temple, 5350 Veterans Pkwy Columbus, GA 31904. A private interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the memorial service and visitation will be required to wear a face covering and social distancing will be in effect.
Ryan was born March 18, 1979 in Columbus, GA son of Ernest Polk and Gloria Knighton Wentland.
Survivors include his wife, Jamie Denise Goins of Columbus, GA; children, Kayla Goins of Columbus, GA, Kaysi Goins-Polk of Columbus, GA; Father Ernest Polk (Yael) of Columbus, GA; Mother Gloria Knighton Wentland of Columbus, GA; brother, Logan Polk of Columbus, GA, Avi Polk of Columbus, GA; sister, Kelly Goins (David) of Columbus, GA, Mychael Blake Polk of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews, Jessika, Kaylee, Eddie, Olivia, Jourdan, Jaydin, Jace, KJ, and Jeremiah.
