Larry Cox

Larry David Cox, 75, of Salem, AL passed away September 29, 2025 at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 01, 2025 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, October 03, 2025 in the Chapel of PEARSON – Dial Funeral Home in Blackshear, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Blackshear. Interment will be held following the service at Laura Chapel Cemetery in Patterson, GA.

Larry was born November 18, 1949 in Richland County, SC son of the late David and Geraldine Roberson Cox.

Other than his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Foster Cox; and his granddaughter, Taryn Cox.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marie Foster Cox of Salem, AL; sons, Michael Cox (Leslie) of Columbus, GA, Christopher Cox (Kay Smith) of Salem, AL; grandchildren, Tyler Cox of Charleston, SC, Christian Jordan (Madison Marie) of Camp Pendleton, CA, Nathan Cox of Salem, AL, Ayden Cox of Salem, AL; great granddaughter, Violet Simmons; brother, Donald Cox (Aline Leggett) of Patterson, GA.

Flowers will be accepted at the funeral services in Blackshear, GA.
