Larry F. Culpepper, 78, of Ellerslie, GA died at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held 12:00PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907. A public visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. The graveside committal will follow services at Parkhill Cemetery.

Larry was born in Columbus, GA, November 28, 1947 to William F. Culpepper, Jr. and Geraldine L. Ginn Culpepper Justice. Professionally, Larry worked as a mechanical contractor, a job that he held for fifty+ years. Along with hunting and fishing, Larry loved to play in dirt “Gardening”. He passed his time with searching for artifacts and knapping his own arrowheads. As a true jack of all trades, Larry also enjoyed snow skiing.

He is preceded in death by his parents William Floyd Culpepper, Jr. and Geraldine L. Ginn Culpepper Justice; grandparents, Roy Alton Ginn, Janie Thomasson Ginn, William F. Culpepper, and Mattie Belle Kemp Culpepper; beloved Uncle Charles Ginn (Sue); sister, Carol Ellen Culpepper Weaver; son, Larry Neal Culpepper.

He is survived by his wife Deborah M. Culpepper; children, Michael Ginn Culpepper and Tammy Marie Culpepper Burt (Danny); grandchildren; Jeffrey Daniel Burt (Ashlee), Christina Marie Culpepper Caruana (Andrew) and Corrin Skye Spurr (Daniel); sister, Laura Ann Culpepper Ray (Bubba); Aunts, Peggy Culpepper and Gloria Nell Culpepper Mastrean; Uncle, William Henry Ginn (Jane), nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
