In her lifetime, Liane Friederike Caddell, or as everyone knew her "Oma" was defined by her devotion to making everyone she met feel as though they had been wrapped in the arms of a grandmother's devoted love. Through her joy, through her cooking, through her stories of bravery in Germany, her generous heart, her deep empathetic, understanding of suffering, her silly antics, her faithful friendships and her unwavering drive to live life to its absolute fullest, she has and will continue to leaving a lasting imprint and reflection in the lives of those she touched. Her free time was encompassed by loving others… That was her joy, that was her legacy.

Liane was borne in Leipzig Germany to Richard and Oliva Hoff on April 27, 1936. She was preceded by her late husband Larry Clarence Caddell; her son, Larry Clarence Richard Caddell and her brother Otto Hoff.

Liane is survived by her loving grandchildren, Kali Brooke Caddell, Lazarus, John Caddell, and Olive Ann Caddell; her brother Gunter Hoff and her daughter-in-law, Jenine Caddell, wife of the late Larry Caddell.
