Linda Carol Robinson Atkinson, 62, of Phenix City, AL died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Danny Roberts officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Atkinson was born September 25, 1954 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late James Clinton Robinson and Mary Eleanor Howell Robinson. She worked as homemaker and was a member of Glen Anthony Baptist Church. She loved the beach, her animals and flowers.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker of her family.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jimmy Atkinson, daughter, Allison Nicole Atkinson, son, Jimmy "Lee" Atkinson, Jr. (Brandi) all of Phenix City, AL, brothers, Steven Wayne Robinson (Cathy) and James Kenneth Robinson all of Box Springs, GA, 4 grandchildren, Daltyn and Kody Atkinson and Austin and Kyle Snipes, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
