Linda Bart

Linda Marie Bart, 72, of Columbus, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Linda was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on September 27, 1953, to the late Steven Stanley Batog and Tillie Wojczynski Batog. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Ashley Murrey (Jonathin); step-daughter, Denise Frederick; step-sons, Joseph Gervase (Darla) and Scott Gervase (Delores); and her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Charlotte, Mackenzie, Abbey, Olivia, Eric, Eddie, Eli, Patrick, and Matthew.

She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Stevens; brother-in-law, Thomas Bart; sister-in-law, Chris Batog; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dennis Bart; her sister, Carol Brooks (Arthur Brooks); her brother, Jerry Batog; brother-in-law, Joe Stevens; sister-in-law, Suzanne Bart; sister-in-law, Shirley Bart; and brother-in-law, Jim Bart.

Linda found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to cook, enjoyed being outdoors, and treasured warm days in the sunshine. She was a devoted member of Christ the King Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

A Memorial Mass will be held in Michigan at a later date.
