Linda Laverne Pollock Hart, 70, of Fortson, GA died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Mickey Adams officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Hart was born December 26, 1941 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Hubert Laverne and Margaret Estelle Burgess Pollock. She had worked for Signature Flight Support and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and the Columbus Cruisers.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jimmy L. Hart (Rt. Columbus Fire Department) of Fortson, GA, two daughters, Stacy Hart Pritchard (Jeff) and Jamie Sloan Anderson (Brad) both of Fortson, GA, one sister, Carol Pollock Parker of Phenix City, AL, four grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Pritchard and Carson and Cayde Anderson.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to the Piney Grove Baptist Church Benevolence Fund 20 Highway 315 Fortson, GA 31808.
