Linda M Lewis

Linda M Lewis, born on December 20, 1952, in Pineville, Louisiana, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Columbus, Georgia. Linda was a beloved member of her family, whose life was defined by love, laughter, and a spirit of generosity.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Linda is survived by Tommy Bowers, Sr. and his son, Tommy Bowers, Jr., daughters, Tinna Anderson (Curtis) and Catherine Lewis (Carlos), along with her grandchildren: Brittany Anderson, Christopher Anderson II, Angel Lewis, Austin Gillenwater, Alex Gillenwater, and Layla Gillenwater. She also adored her four great-grandchildren and her loving dog, Foxie, who brought her joy and companionship.

Linda shared her life with her surviving family members, including her siblings: Barbara Tuthill, Lula Chodak, and her brother, Johnny Jones, who will carry forward her legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Grace D. Jones, Sr., and her husband, Leon Lewis. Their memories remain alive in the hearts of those who loved her.

Linda had a passion for life and enjoyed playing Bingo and spending peaceful moments at the beach. Her warm spirit and zest for living were evident to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In recognition of her vibrant life and to celebrate the love she shared, a Celebration of Life will be held on December 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, Georgia 31907. This gathering will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share stories, and honor Linda's memory.

Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will always linger in the hearts she touched.
