Linda Sue Walton, 72, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 17, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Linda was born June 15, 1950 in Butler, GA to the late D. H. Gaultney and Doris Vanwinkle Gaultney. She worked at Kystals as a shift leader and as a cashier at Classic Cookie. She loved listening to Elvis, playing Bingo and dancing. She enjoyed go gambling, to her class reunions and on trips to FL.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Walton of Columbus, GA, Sherry Faulkner (J.C.) of Jacksonville, FL, step-daughter, Barbara Fennell (Brian) of Cordele, GA, step-son, Robert Walton, Jr. of Cordele, GA, brother, Richard Gaultney of Dallas, TX, David Gaultney (Debby) of Fortson, GA, grandchildren, Tyler Walton, Keeley Gillis, Taylor Faulkner, Chris Fennell, Devin Faulkner, great-grandchildren, Noah Walton, McKayla Walton, Grayson Faulkner/Doswell, Blaine Gillis, Braylyn Gillis and former husband, Robert Walton.
