Margaret Willene Boyett, 102, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the Oaks of Grove Park.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, with Rev. Ed Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Margaret was born September 19, 1922 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late John Elmer Porter and Bessie Taylor Porter.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Edward Boyett; her second husband, Norman Howard Freed; and her son, Ronald Monroe Boyett.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Judy Boyett of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Ronald Christopher Boyett (Tina) of Columbus, GA, Jennifer Seymour of Phenix City, AL, Chuck Boyett (Kelly) of Columbus, GA; great grandchildren, Carter Boyett of San Antonio, TX, Mary Margaret Boyett of Athens, GA, Robert Seymour (Sasha) of Pine Mountain, GA, Brianna Seymour Graddock (Thomas) of Phenix City, AL, Sonny Gresham (Harley) of Columbus, GA, Torren Boyett (Josh Wells) of Phenix City, AL, Chance Boyett of Columbus, GA, Charley Boyett of Columbus, GA; great great grandchildren, Thatcher, Leighland, and Elizabeth.
