Margaret Spence Cannie, 83, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Parkhill Cemetery, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Cannie was born November 9, 1930 in Northern England, daughter of the late James Spence and Nellie Spence. She retired from Sears Company where she worked in the applicance department.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Brian Cannie.
Survivors include her son, Mick Cannie (Bonnie) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Dennis Urban (Angela) of Columbus, GA and Shaun Cannie (Madeline) of Columbus, GA; great grandchildren, Abigail Urban and Landen Urban both of Columbus, GA; and nephew, Tony Baron (Jennifer) of Northern England.
