Margaret (Bryson) Patterson

Margaret (Bryson) Patterson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in her home surrounded and comforted by her children. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was dearly loved and will be missed.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Margaret moved from Berwick-upon-Tweed, England to Columbus, GA in 1994, where she spent most of her life in banking. She loved her garden, cuddling her dogs, and baking and crafting with her beautiful granddaughters. Many of you know Margaret by her legendary shortbread and cheesecake, which she gifted often.

She is survived by her children, Joanne (Shae) and Christopher (Virginia); her granddaughters, Mackenzie and Isabella; her sisters, Evelyn and Ann; and her sister-in-law, Debbie.
