Marshall "Keith" McLemore, 40, of Fortson, GA passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Mr. Josh Bottoms officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Everyone is invited to the McLemore residence after the services.
Keith was born January 22, 1979 in Columbus, GA son of Marshall T. "Pops" McLemore (Lora Lee) of Mexico Beach, FL and Jennifer Law Padelford of Columbus, GA. He was an entrepreneur for over 20 years, including the past 7 years he owned and operated D&W Express. He loved hunting, fishing, drag racing, motorcycles and Alabama football. Keith was a hardworking man and a loving husband, father and son. He was a good-hearted man, who his friends could always count on being straight forward.
Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife, Bridget Mickle McLemore of Fortson, GA, son, Marshall "Dylan" McLemore of Fortson, GA, siblings, Danyeil Hooper of Columbus, GA, Jonathan Padelford (Michelle) of Powder Springs, GA and Dawson McLemore (Cynthia) of Fortson, GA, step-sisters, Amber Forliti (Pat) of Chattanooga, TN and Jody Coan (Jeremy) of Smiths Station, AL, many nieces and nephews, and best friend and neighbor of 27 years, Chris Ellis (Lindsay) of Fortson, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org.
