Martha Ann Smith Ellis 75, of Columbus, Georgia died Tuesday, December, 15, 2020 at her residence.
A private Graveside Service for the Ellis family will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 in Parkhill Cemetery. The services will be LIVESTREAMED on Monday at www.mcmullenfuneralhome.com
Mrs. Ellis was born January 29, 1945 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late James Robert and Lucille Hayes Smith. She was the former owner of Martha’s Florist and later became a stay at home mom. Mrs. Ellis enjoyed spending time with her family, looking for new recipes to cook and buying kitchen gadgets.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her two sisters, Clora Bell Smith, Vivian Strickland her brother, Ronnie Gene Smith and her grandson Jonathan Colby Ellis.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, W.C. Ellis, Sr., children, W.C. Ellis, Jr. (Kathy) of Phenix City, Al., Carolyn E. Calloway (Timothy) of Columbus, Ga., Wonda R. Johnson (Daniel) of Phenix City, Al., Kenneth Todd Ellis (Alice) of Benton, Tn., Gwendolyn E. Delevie (Christopher) of Columbus, Ga., brother, James W. Smith of Phenix City, Al., 14 Grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
