Martha Louise Hardison, 80 of Columbus, GA passed away on May 29, 2026 at Columbus Hospice according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined.

Martha was born May 29, 1946 to the late Henry C. Wesson and Mary Louise Wood Wesson. She retired from the United States Air Force where she proudly served her country. Martha was a great lover of birds and was very involved in their care and assisted in the “Wild Bird Rescue”

Survivors include her sister: Elaine Rydczk of Montgomery, AL, brother: Chris Wesson of Navarre, FL and her beloved caregiver, Linda Dey of Phenix City, AL.
