Martha Fay Myers

Martha Fay Myers, 66, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Travis Rigsby and Mrs. Paula Boutin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Fay was born January 19, 1955 in Talbotton, GA to Rosie Phillips and the late Dana Phillips. Fay worked at Gayfers as a hairstylist and later was a floral arranger. She was a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Columbus, GA, loved decorating for Christmas and collecting Santa Claus’. Fay loved to cook, talking on the phone, shopping and flowers. She was a wonderful wife, mother and sweet loving NaNa.

She is survived by her mother, Rosie Phillips of Phenix City, AL, husband, Walter Myers of Columbus, GA, daughter, Brooke Mainor (Bryce) of Shiloh, GA, son, Brandon Myers (Cathy) of St. Augustine, FL, brother, Matt Phillips of Columbus, GA, sister, Paula Boutin (Frank) of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Landon Myers, Aidan Myers, Colton Hampton, Isabella Myers, Marti Mainor, Katelyn Howard, Autumn Covan, Ragan Mainor, Toby Mainor, great-grandchildren, Isabella Covan, Wolfgang Covan, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
