Martha Elizabeth Wendell, 87, of Columbus died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Lamb officiating.
Mrs. Wendell was born July 3, 1923 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Elizabeth Jones Kavanaugh and Bergen Kavanaugh. She was the office manager for Traveler's Insurance Company. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bergen and Robert Kavanaugh and Jack Favors.
Survivors include her husband Bill Wendell of Columbus, GA; daughter, Carol Wendell of Columbus, GA and son, Charlie Wendell of Boston, MA.
