Mary G. Duncan, 92, of Midland, GA died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Magnolia Manor.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Buddy Lamb officiating. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Ms. Duncan was born January 15, 1927 in Rock Castle, AL daughter of the late Frank Henry Gerk and Willie Carol West Weaver. She retired as a secretary after 20 years from the Civil Service and was a member of Schomburg Rd. Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Leonard Anderson, Frank Gevk, Lucille Ostlund and Jessie Schwartz.
Survivors include her daughters, Shelia Joy Brown (Robert), Robin Norris (Gary), Debra S. Duncan, and LuCindy Duncan, sons, Jerry M. Duncan and Joby Duncan (Laura), grandchildren, Joshua W. Brown (Jackie), Jacob W. Brown (Jenny), John Robert Brown, Christi Burdeshaw (John), Tyler Norris, Stefanie Powell (CeeJay), Claudia Duncan, Darlene Duncan, Katelynn Duncan and Madelynn Duncan, great-grandchildren, Jericho Brown, Josie Brown, Jezzabelle Brown, Jaxon Brown, Jade Brown, Juliette Brown, Asa Brown, Shiloh Brown, Bailey Moss, Dylan Denton, Kenleigh Denton and Madilyn Powell.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make memorial contributions to Schomburg Rd. Baptist Church.
