Mary L. McLendon, 72, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Mr. Grady Nix officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. McLendon was born July 17, 1939 in LaGrange, GA daughter of the late Verlie Lee Langford and Audie Doris Leo Nix. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Bridget Cooper (David) of Columbus, GA, KImberly Joy Cruz (Carl) of Valdosta, GA and Heather Lynn Green (Michael) of London, KY; son, Bennie Lee McLendon (Dawnee) of Valdosta, GA; ten grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
