Mason Clements Brown, 70 of Columbus, GA died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Magoni officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mr. Brown was born November 19 1942 in Columbus, Georgia son of the late Edwin Tim Brown and Janie Reese Brown. He was in the construction business. He was a member of Altman Baptist Church and Victory Heights Baptist Church.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ben Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Newton Brown of Columbus, GA; daughter, Kristy Brown Griffin of Columbus, GA; sons, Keith Newton Brown and Jeffrey Tim Brown both of Columbus, GA; brothers, Bob Brown, Charles Brown and Roger Brown; sister-in-law, Judy White Young of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Griffin, Kaylee Nicole Griffin, Emma Grace Griffin and Brandon Chase Brown; one great granddaughter, Summer Sharpe and several nieces and nephews.
