Michael Cannie, 69, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his residence.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 11, 2020 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Hank Reeves officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be required during the graveside service.
Michael was born October 9, 1951 in Manchester, England to the late John Brian Cannie and Margaret Spence Cannie. He retired from Boral Bricks as a sales associate. He loved to watch football and was a huge UGA fan. He watched cooking shows, Nascar and loved to grill out.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Bonnie Hayes Cannie of Columbus, GA, sons, Dennis Urban (Angela) of Columbus, GA, Shaun Cannie (Madeline) of Fortson, GA, grandchildren, Landen Urban, Abigail Urban, Shelby Cannie and Bayleigh Cannie.
