It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Terry Stringfellow, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the age of 77, surrounded by those who loved him most.

Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 26, 2025 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907 where we will honor the joy he brought into the world and the lasting mark he left on each of us. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Born and raised in Georgia, Michael spent his life rooted in love, laughter, and service. A proud veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country with courage and honor — a reflection of the strength and loyalty that defined his character throughout his life.

For 54 wonderful years, Michael shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Beckie Stringfellow. Together, they built a family filled with joy, warmth, and cherished memories. He was a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a loyal brother, whose presence brought comfort and kindness to all who knew him.

Michael was a man of many passions — a lover of fishing, cows, and the quiet beauty of the outdoors. He had an unmistakable spark of whimsy, always ready with a joke, a prank, or a laugh that could light up any room. His sense of humor was infectious, and his heart of gold shone through in every act of generosity and compassion.

He had a gentle soul and a sensitive spirit, never shy about showing love or lending a helping hand. Whether casting a line at sunrise or pulling a prank at a family gathering, Michael lived life fully and left a legacy of laughter and love.

Michael was preceded in death by his loving parents Rufus and Juanita Stringfellow, brother Carson Stringfellow, nephew Michael Lucas, and great nephew Keith Smith.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Beckie Stringfellow, his children Tony Camara (Tracy), Tracy Edwards(Scott), Terry Stringfellow. Grandchildren Michael Camara (Saige), Taylor Wales (Matthew), Tiffany Edwards, Justin Camara (Kelsey), Logan West, Breann Stringfellow, Taryn Stringfellow. Great grandchildren, Quinn Camara, Whitley Wales, Collins Camara, and Olive Camara. His sisters Jane Smith (Major), Rebecca Wolfe, Janet Fowler (Scott), Charlene Baker (Jimmy), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

Rest easy, Dad, Thank you for your love, your laughter, and your unforgettable spirit.
