Monica Lynn Hammond - Martin – Fuller, 72, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Monica was a divine daughter, devoted sister, fearless mother, amazing aunt, terrific grandmother, & a super star great grandmother. She was kind, stern, honest, compassionate, ethical, and honorable. She was a moral compass for all who crossed her path. Just like her favorite Winn the Pooh characters. Accepting everyone and anyone for who they are and meeting them where they were. Even if they were weird or stranger than hell; in her opinion. She understood other and the true struggles in this world. Always give wisdom where needed or unwanted. She never shied away from an issues. She had a talent for concurring problems and relieving stress with an easy. She swooped in like her favorite super hero (Wonder Woman) to save the day. She never discriminate between with her biological family, extended family, or friends. Even though, she was the shortest person in the room. With her personality of an Amazon Warrior. Her presence was always known & family / friends would flock to her with joy. She would loved to dance, play board games, and debate with grand, and great grand kids about current events and not so current events. Monica knew her transition into the next chapter was going to be smooth, because she achieved her one ultimate goal before she died. That her child, grandchildren, and great grandchildren have all been molded for the better by her presence in their life. She was an outstanding, courageous, and model of excellence. She will be gravely missed by so many.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Gay; brother, Micheal Hammond Sr.; nephew, Micheal Hammond Jr.; grandchildren, twins Steven Fuller and Hayley Massey, Zachary Fuller, and Carrissa Turbyfill; great-grandchildren, Oliver Fuller, Cassandra McCrary, and Evangeline Massey.
