Murray O. Bradfield

Murray O. Bradfield, 93, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Columbus Hospice House.

A Cryptside Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Chapel of Pines Mausoleum in Parkhill Cemetery with Military Honors according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The services will be streamed live for those who are unable to attend the services beginning 2:00 PM Saturday at www.mcmullenfuneralhome.com In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing are recommended for those attending the services.

Murray was born September 18, 1927 in West Point, GA to the late Alvin F. Bradfield and Mary Ballard Bradfield. He was in the United States Army, served in the Korean War and retired as a self-employed furniture salesman. He was a long time member of Waldrop Memorial Baptist Church, loved to fish and spend time with his family. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Barbara Bradfield.

He is survived by his son, Murray Bradfield, Jr. (Marnell) of Atlanta, GA, daughter, Donna Morgan of Lawrenceville, GA, son, Frank Bradfield (Shelby) of Fortson, GA, several brothers, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
