Nathaniel Haddix Profile Photo

Nathaniel Austin Haddix, 26, of Fortson, Georgia, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Phenix City, Alabama.

Born with a quiet strength and a thoughtful spirit, Nathan was a 2017 graduate of Harris County High School and furthered his education at the University of West Georgia and Columbus State University. He dedicated himself to hard work and leadership, beginning his career with FedEx at distribution centers in Columbus and Atlanta before becoming a valued supervisor with United Parcel Service (UPS) in Opelika, Alabama.

Nathan lived a life full of movement, curiosity, and purpose. From the snowy landscapes of Fairbanks, Alaska to various cities across Georgia—including Fort Benning, Fortson, Cumming, and Kennesaw—he left his mark on every place he called home. His kind demeanor, strong work ethic, and sense of humor touched the lives of those around him.

Nathan is deeply loved and mourned by his parents, Larry and Cassi Haddix; his siblings, Bradley, Caleb, and Annabelle; his grandparents, Chris and Wilda Grace; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues who were privileged to know him.

A memorial service to honor Nathan’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, located at 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.

Though Nathan's time with us was far too brief, his memory will remain a source of strength, love, and inspiration to all who knew him.
