Neang Chinn, age 82 of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on April 19 at 5:24 AM. He was born on April 4, 1944. 

A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Neang Chinn, a devoted husband, father, and cherished member of his family, passed away after a long and meaningful life. Born in 1944, he recently celebrated his birthday on April 4th, marking over eight decades of memories, hard work, and love shared with those around him.

For more than 40 years, Neang was a loving and dedicated husband to his wife, building a life grounded in commitment, resilience, and deep care. Together, they raised their son, whom Neang supported with unwavering devotion and pride. He also held a special place in his heart for his daughter-in-law, Amanda, who stood by the family through it all. Neang loved her dearly and appreciated the care and strength she brought to their lives.

Neang was known for his incredible work ethic and selfless nature. He gave his all in everything he did, always putting his family first and extending generosity to anyone in need. Whether through his actions or quiet sacrifices, he made a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

In his free time, Neang found joy in simple pleasures. He loved fishing, often appreciating the peace and patience it brought him, and he enjoyed visiting casinos for leisure and entertainment.

Neang’s legacy is one of strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, his son, his daughter-in-law, and all who were touched by his generosity and love.

He is survived by his loving wife, Somuthida Houl; his son, Danna Chinn, and daughter-in-law, Amanda; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
