Norman Lynn Gulley, 89, of Columbus, Georgia, died on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Lance Cordle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA, 31907.

Norman was born September 30, 1936, in Columbus, to the late George and Winnie Boyd Gulley. Norman was in the United States Marines where he lost his leg in a training accident. He was a teacher in the Jefferson County School District and worked as a score keeper at their football games. Norman also loved fishing.

Other than his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret McDaniel Gulley; his brother, Ronald Gulley; his sister, Carolyn Collins; and his niece, Tracy Morris.

Norman is survived by his sister, Laura Cordle (Lance), of Atwood, TN; niece, Nancy Fountain, nephews, Mark Collins (Pam), of Columbus, GA; Drew Cordle (Kristy), of Hernande, MS, and several great and great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
