Patricia “PAT” Jernigan, 87 of Mauk, GA passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Harborview Thomaston.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM, July 9, 2026 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Mike Reeves officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will follow the funeral service at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery, 64-66 Custer Road, Ft. Benning, GA 31905.

Pat was born April 14, 1939 in Little Falls Minnesota to the late Leonard N. Allord and Mary Hubner. She was a homemaker raising her children while her husband was serving in the United States Army. Pat was a “True Country Girl” who loved growing the most beautiful roses you could ever find. As a homemaker she would cook the most delicious meals and loved having her family around the table.

Other than her parents, and husband: Carroll Hawthorne Jernigan, Jr. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Michell Jernigan and a son Tommy Jernigan.

Survivors include her sons: Michael Jernigan of Mauk, GA, Ricky Jernigan (Wendy) of Buena Vista, GA and Leonard Carroll Jernigan of Blakely, GA. sister: Ruthie Olson and brother: Henry Allord both of Minnesota. Grandchildren: Michael Jernigan (Serena), Victoria Jernigan and Leonard Jernigan.
