Patricia Lemke, affectionately known to many as Patty, passed away on March 3, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia. Born Patricia Anne Smith on December 22, 1953, in Camp Pickett, Virginia, she led a life marked by dedication, compassion, and an enduring faith.

Patty served the community of Hollywood, Florida, with distinction as a banker and later as a secretary for the City of Hollywood. Her professional endeavors reflected her strong work ethic and her commitment to service, values she deeply cherished throughout her life.

She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, William Marshal "Billy" Lemke, her father Hassel Smith, her mother Nellie Rader Smith, and her brother Michael Smith. Their memories remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

Patty is survived by her loving sister Diana Scheller and brother-in-law Jerry Scheller, along with one nephew and his family, one niece and her family, her aunt Sandra Norris, and cousins Roxie Louise Rader, Terri Krings, Gina Beach, and April Norris. Her family was a central part of her life, and she treasured the bonds that united them.

A woman of deep faith, Patty found joy and comfort in the Gospel and in her relationship with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She had a genuine love for people and animals alike and found delight in activities such as scuba diving, fishing, and singing Gospel music which filled her with a sense of wonder and adventure.

Patricia Lemke’s legacy is one of faith, love, and devotion. She brightened the lives of those around her with her kindness and grace, leaving an indelible mark on her community and family. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her life will be honored and remembered at an entombment service on Saturday, March 28th, at 11:00 AM at Fred Hunter's Memorial Gardens (Taft St) in Hollywood, Florida. Following the service, refreshments and food will be served at the Lighthouse Church of God in Fort Lauderdale, Fl providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and celebrate her life.
