Pauline Underwood Antley was born in Geneva County, Alabama on June 23, 1921. She lived the majority of her life in Columbus, Ga. She went to her heavenly home June 23, 2019 on her 98th birthday at home surrounded by friends and family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Dr. Rick Mitchell officiating. A private family interment will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Wilton Antley in 1965.
Also preceding her in death, her mother and father, Gertrude Marsh Underwood and Thomas E. Underwood, her brother, Virgil Underwood and her son, James Edward Antley.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Judith Burgess and daughter-in-law, Pat Love Antley. Her grandchildren and families include Kevin and Donna Antley, Keith and Jackie Antley, Kim Norred and Michael Moffitt, Kelly Smith, Chuck and April Smith, Bo Burgess and Lynn Murphy, Suzanne Burgess, her great-grandchildren are Seth Antley, Hilary and Adam Jones, Dalton Antley, Dakota Antley, Cody Langley, Cassidy Norred, Tucker and MaKayla Smith, Hayley Smith and Zack Parramore, Leila Smith and James Giles and Anni Burgess and Seth McCraw, and her great great-grandchildren are Barrett and Briar Jones.
