Pauline Smith

Pauline Smith, 85, of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Smith was born October 03, 1940 in Bowling Green, KY daughter of the late Mary Wade Wooten Padgett.

Other than her mother, Pauline is preceded in death by her son, Gaston Dillon; grandmother, Frankie Williams; and a host of siblings.

Survivors include her friend, Gayle Dillon of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Erica Montgomery of Ft. Mitchell, AL, Jenice Mathis of Columbus, GA, Candice Franks (Kenneth) of Box Springs, GA, Chelsea Dillon of Phenix City, AL; great grandchildren, Shanice Wilmore of Columbus, GA, David Wilmore III of Columbus, GA, Justin Byrd of Columbus, GA, Erica Wiley (TreVeon) of Columbus, GA, Janovia Wyatt of Ft. Mitchell, AL; great great grandchildren, David Ellison, Jr. of Columbus, GA, Dylon Carter of Columbus, GA, Ja-Loni Byrd of Columbus, GA, Dawson Williams of Columbus, GA; numerous nieces and other family.
