Pearl S. Kemp 88, of Columbus, Georgia died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2020 in Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery according to McMullen Funeral home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31907. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we encourage everyone to make the best decisions to remain safe. If anyone wishes to attend the graveside service, please remember to remain 6 feet apart from those not in your household and wear personal protective equipment.
Mrs. Kemp was born February 22, 1932 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late B.T. Shepperd and Jessie White Shepperd. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Johnson Elementary as the Cafeteria Manager. She loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
Other than her parents and her siblings, Mrs. Kemp was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Neal Kemp.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Watson and her husband Keith of Waverly Hall, Georgia grandchildren, April Andrade (Brian), David Watson and his fiancé Jessie Lank, Dylon Watson (Heather) great-grandchildren, Whitley Fussell, Olivia Huff, Elleigh Archer, Leland Watson and K.J. Andrade.
