Phillip Joseph "Joe" Eldridge, born on November 12, 1992, in Columbus, Georgia, passed away on August 9, 2026, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. In his 33 years, Joe was known for his warmth, sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him. He was a very giving person and even through his death helped saved the lives of many people by being an organ donor.

Joe was a graduate of Northside High School, class of 2011. He went on to make his mark as a dedicated Body Shop Metal Finisher at KIA of Georgia, where his colleagues respected his work ethic and friendly spirit. Those who worked alongside him appreciated not just his talent, but his ever-present ability to lift spirits and bring laughter into any situation.

Joe’s deep love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. He found joy in fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting. Nature was his sanctuary, and many of his happiest days were spent in the woods or along the water, surrounded by his friends and family. His love for storytelling and his innate ability to make people laugh earned him a reputation as a true jokester. Joe valued moments of joy and made it his mission to share that happiness with those he cared for.

Among all of his achievements, nothing brought Joe more pride and fulfillment than his children. He cherished his role as a father to Everlee, Josie, Easton, and Cooper, loving them with all his heart and creating precious memories that will remain with them always.

Joe leaves behind a loving family who mourns his passing with heavy hearts. He is survived by his devoted mother, Bonnie Eldridge; father Phillip Eldridge; his children Everlee, Josie, Easton and Cooper; sisters Ashley (Dusty) Cummings and Erin (Zeke) Coulter; and nieces Blakley, Karlee, Jade, Kinley, and Maysen. Maternal grandmother, Sara L Love and paternal grandmother Barbara Eldridge and 2 best friends that never left his side Dylan Sealy and Michael Brooks.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph "Joe" Lamb and James Nolan Eldridge, and his uncle, Mel Lamb.

Friends and loved ones are invited to remember Joe and pay their respects at a visitation to be held on August 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
