Phillip Martin, Sr.

Phillip Martin Sr., a life-long resident of Columbus, GA died unexpectedly on Sunday May 15, 2022 at the age of 53 surrounded by his family.

Phillip was born in Fort Benning, GA on December 12, 1968.  He was a devoted father and grandfather.  As owner of Martin Antiques & Collectables in Columbus, he had a love and passion for antique collectables and saw the beauty in all things rare and unique. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Phillip is survived by his mother Gladys Martin; his brother and sisters, Carlos Martin, Julia Stephens (Chuck), Mary Sol Fernandez, Martha Martin, Debby Bailey (John), Teena Wildes-Nivens (Joe); his children, Phillip Martin Jr. (Julia), Alstin Martin and Aleea Martin; his granddaughters, Ellie Mae Martin, Annistaza Prieste, and goddaughter, Anne BeBeau.  He is predeceased by his father, Orestes Frank Martin Sr. and brothers, Frank Martin Jr. and Gordon Taylor.
