Phyllis Vaglienti, 94, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026 in Columbus, Georgia. Born November 13, 1931 in West Virginia. Phyllis spent her younger years in West Virginia and then lived in Iowa and Kansas City, before settling in Upatoi Georgia in a home that she loved and lived happily with her husband of 25 years, Paul Vaglienti Jr.

Phyllis embraced the simple joys of everyday life. Her biggest joy was found in spending time with her family and friends. She found peace in the outdoor world, working in the yard taking care of her beautiful Koi pound and feeding and watching the birds. Her compassion extended as a lifelong animal lover and advocate.

When resting indoors, she could be found with a pen in hand, happily challenging her mind to various crossword puzzles and watching classic movies.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul Vaglienti Jr.; husband Charles Bardsley, her cherished son, Robby Bardsley; her parents; her siblings; and the friends who went before her.

Phyllis leaves behind love through her family. She is survived by her four children: Brooke Bardsley Rickard, Nicole Vaglienti, Alisha Vaglienti, and daughter-in-love Lisa Bardsley; her ten grandchildren: Mason, Molly, Robby, Kate, Chelsea, Rebecca, Jessica, Levi , Marissa and Lindsey; as well as sixteen cherished great-grandchildren.

Blessed with a long, healthy life, Phyllis will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. While her family mourns her physical presence, they find comfort and peace in knowing she is reunited with her God and with the loved ones she missed greatly but whom greeted her on the other side.
