Rachael Goff

Rachael “Sue” Goff, 78, of Smiths Station, Alabama, died on September 11, 2025 at Parkwood Healthcare.

Sue was born on October 17, 1946 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Austin Gill and Ruby Davis Brown. Sue was a member of Crawford Road Baptist Church, Red Hatters of Columbus, loved to cook, clean, play cards, and read. She also liked going to Casinos and dog tracks.

Other than her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Goff; brother, Jimmy Whitaker; and sister, Dorothy Crosby.

Sue is survived by her son, Michael Goff (Brandy), of Smiths Station, AL; four grandchildren, Mark McGilvery (Lupe) of Ft. Mitchell, AL; Brian Goff, Autumn Townsend (Timothy) , and Dakota Rose Goff, of Smiths Station, AL; two great- grandchildren, Leo McGilvery and Luci Townsend; siblings, Jane Reznicek of Rice, TX; Freddie Whitaker (Cathy) of Macon, GA; Johnny Whitaker (Cathy) of Panama City Beach, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
