Ralph Howell McCormick, 55, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 Pm Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.

Ralph was born April 12, 1970 son of the late Richard Allen Tubbs and the late Julia Misseldine Tubbs, in Fort Meade, MD.

Ralph proudly served in the United States Army. He loved all his family very much, but was especially fond of the kids. He worked for Columbus Water Works for over 25 years and was truly loved by his work family. He loved Star Wars, building models and was an avid comic book collector. His mustang `Eleanor' was his pride and joy (even though it hardly ever ran)

Other than his mother, Ralph was preceded in death by his aunt, Jackie McCormick and his nephew, Joe Collins, Jr.

Survivors include his siblings, Kaye Wright (Terry) of Columbus, GA, Rex McCormick of Columbus, GA, Debbie Travis (Johnny) of Columbus, GA, Melony Whitlock (James) of Columbus, GA, Margie Collins (Joe) of Fortson, GA; nieces and nephews, Ricky Beach (Crys) of Phenix City, AL, Chad Sartin (Lindsey) of Lawrenceville, Ga, Krystal Allen (Matthew) of Columbus, GA Amber Lewis (Casey) of Coco Beach, FL, Shane Downs (Maria) of Tampa, FL, Steven Hunt (Samantha) of Upatoi, GA, Jennifer Sanders of Fortson, GA, numerous great nieces and great nephews.
