Mr. Raepheil “Rock” Morgan peacefully transitioned to his eternal rest at his home on Wednesday, January 14, at the age of 46.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 24, 2026 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2026 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Green Acres Cemetery following the service.

Raepheil was born on March 10, 1979, in Columbus, Georgia, to Jacqueline Davis and Cartez Baker. He received his education through the Muscogee County School System. He was employed with Bio-Tech until his illness began. Raepheil gave his life to Christ at a young age and joined New Mount Olive Baptist Church. “Rock,” as we all lovingly called him, was full of life. His smile and laugh would brighten any room. He never met a stranger; his love for his family and friends was unmatched. His heart was as big as his smile—if he had it, you had it.

He enjoyed sports, with his favorite team being the Georgia Bulldogs. He loved to make people laugh and never missed an opportunity to crack a joke or playfully “jank” at your expense. He loved to cook and eat, and he did both with great joy. His smile, contagious laugh, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed. He dearly loved his one and only brother, Jovan Floyd.

Raepheil “Rock” Morgan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Morgan, Robert Morgan, Mary Alice Baker, and Stephen C. Baker.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, his devoted mother Jacqueline (Ricky) Davis Father Cartez Baker; a devoted brother, Jovan Floyd; one niece, Jovanna Floyd; aunts Cassandra Morgan, Precious Aeby, and Stephanie (Sam) Greer; uncles Darrell (Sherrel) Floyd, Ricky Floyd, Robert (Angela) Morgan, Timothy Morgan, Christopher (Brenda) Baker, Carlton (Cheryl) Baker, and Leslie A. Baker; and Taziyah Morgan, whom he lovingly raised as a daughter. He is also survived by a host of cousins, family, and friends.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
