Rebecca Jo O’Brien, 70, of Dalton, GA died June 17, 2021. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, June 24, 2021 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. O’Brien was born July 24, 1950 in Columbus, GA to the late Emil and Maxine Brown Thomann. She was a member of Rosehill United Methodist Church and retired from records at the Columbus Police Department. She was a loving mother and grandmother and her grandchildren were her world.
She is survived by her children, Bob O’Brien (Karen), Holly Bennett, Kelly O’Brien (Olivia); grandchildren, Rachel, Johnathan, MacKenzie, Nathan, Tyler, Mathew, Joseph, Shane; and brother, Scott Thomann (Bella).
