Rev. Jack E. Perkins, 80, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Piedmont Midtown Columbus Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Lewis Brown officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Rev. Perkins was born November 27, 1938 in Moultrie, GA son of the late John Millard Perkins and Estelle Roberts Perkins. He worked as a Master Machinist for Gravely Tractor Company.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Ruth "Ruthie" Perkins, children, James Eric Perkins and Jack E. Perkins, Jr., brother, Johnny Perkins, sister, Betty Jackson, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
