Rhonda J. Welch, 59, of Columbus, GA died Monday, June 3, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Bob Hawkins officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Welch was born October 13, 1959 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Robert and Betty Grier Cotton. She worked as the Office Manager for Foot and Ankle of West Georgia.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Cotton, Jr.
Survivors include her son, Cameron Welch of Smiths Station, AL and siblings, Randal Cotton (Jeanette) of Cataula, GA and Janie Cotton Longworth of Phenix City, AL.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Association.
