Richard Adrian Collier, 23, of Columbus, died Saturday May 14, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday May 20, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, with Pastor Sean Rheaume and Pastor Terry Robins officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Richard was born June 1, 1992 in Columbus GA to Cecil Adrian Collier of Upatoi, GA and Dawn Marie Gulledge Boyd of Columbus, GA. He worked as a machine operator with Chassix Georgia Machine.
He will always be loved and missed by his father, Cecil "Boo" Collier, mother, Dawn Marie Boyd, sisters, Lauryn "Doo" Collier, Celeste "Les" Collier, Gabrielle "Gabby" Boyd, and bonus-dad, Shannon "Tom" Boyd with two bonus siblings, Austin and Brittany Boyd. His niece and nephew, Raegan "Punky" and AJ Smith. His heart forever held by his pawpaw, Richard Collier, nana, Carolyn Collier and gma, Ki Andrews. Surrounding his spirit are his aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and many friends.
Richard graduated from Harris County High School in 2010. As a child he had a smile that could warm a dark room and heart that continued to grow and evolve into the man he was becoming. Filled with laughter and tears, no matter the odds he kept going. If you needed help he would offer and if you needed a laugh he would create it. Richard "TheLastKing" Collier's legacy will live on.
