Robbie Lou (Burleson) Burdett

Robbie Lou Burdett, 88 of Fortson, Georgia died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 19, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jonathan Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Mrs. Burdett was born January 20, 1933 in Clarksdale, MS. Daughter of the late Thomas Chapman and Mattie Adele Rush Burleson. She worked in the cafeteria at Blanchard Elementary and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Burdett enjoyed gardening and raising her children.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Burdett was preceded in death by her grandson James Burdett and brothers, Thomas C. Burleson, Jr., Jackie Burleson, Donald Burleson, Charles Burleson, Kenneth Burleson, Gary Burleson, Wyndell Burleson.

Survivors include  her husband of 70 years, Rufus Donald Burdett, Children: Deborah E Williams (Ron), William D Burdett (Susan), T Diane Land (Vernon), Calvin D Burdett (Christina), Joel Q Burdett (Barbara), brother, Dennis Burleson, sister, Janelle Wyatt.

Grandchildren: Brandon Missildine (Traci), Mitchell Burdett (Lacie), Jonathan Burdett (Jennifer), Jason Land (Cheryl), Teresa Nowling (Narvie), Adam Burdett (Meghan), Rachael Douglas (Stephen),Macy Kight (Morgan), Clifton Williamson (Kelsie), David Burdett (Gabriella), Wesley Burdett (Michelle),Ashley Reinhart (Blake), Kayce Burdett (Lee), Emily Ann Burdett

Great grandchildren: Hana Missildine, Breana Missildine, Kayla Burdett, Colton Land, Kimber Land, Kirsten Nowling, Ansley Nowling, Wyatt J Burdett, Oliver Burdett, Kelby Keairns, Harper Moore, Hilton Kight, Kellen Neesmith, Bentlee Williamson, Sterling Douglas.
