Robert Bradshaw

Robert Harland "Bobby" Bradshaw, 91, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, February 03, 2026 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at Evangel Church, 5350 Veterans Parkway on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2pm.

Bobby was born September 29, 1934 in Decatur, AL son of the late Earnest Russell Bradshaw and Drady Belle Miller Bradshaw.

Bobby & Sue were married for 70 years enjoying a fruitful and blessed marriage. Bobby was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed deer, turkey and quail hunting. He was also an avid fisherman and member of the local BASS club. He enjoyed the fellowship of participating in these activities with his friends and son. He and Sue were founding members of Chattahoochee Sporting Clays, a local trap and skeet shooting range. He also enjoyed coaching youth football, helped lead the Northside Rebels to 3 Peanut Bowls winning 1. He was a loving and protective husband, father and a great provider. His long career with the telephone company instilled an outstanding example of work ethic for his children which survives to this day.

Other than his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Greg Bradshaw.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Patterson Bradshaw of Columbus, GA; children, Rusty Bradshaw (Penny) of Columbus, GA, Kelley Bradshaw Matlock (Duke) of Kissimmee, FL; Grandchildren, Jessica Bradshaw (Billy Turner) of Phenix City, AL, Courtney Howe (Austin) of Lantana, TX, Emily McGruder (Shiloh) of Leesville, LA, Hunter Bradshaw (Emily) of Dallas, TX, Cory Bradshaw of Columbus, GA, Brianna Cail (Adam) of Talbotton, GA; Tara Gualdarama (Matt) of North Carolina, Jennifer Eckerson (Max) of Charlotte, NC, McKenzie Matlock of Charlotte, NC, Logan Matlock of Greenville, SC. Great grandchildren, Ethan O’Berry, Robert Vandershoot, Alyssa Jamieson, John Vandershoot and Lara Gualdarama of Columbus GA. Great-great grandchildren include Eleanor Howe, Callahan Howe, Kylie Bradshaw, Caroline Eckerson, Callahan Eckerson and Crosby Eckerson.
