Robert Arnold Gibson, 71, of Columbus, GA died Monday, March 13, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Glenn Anthony Baptist Church 1109 39th St. Columbus, GA 31904 with Rev. Hank Reeves officiating. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Gibson was born July 7, 1945 in Columbus, GA son of the late Robert Lester Gibson and Florence Wyatt Gibson. He worked as a glasser for LTR Glass Company and was a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Alice Burt Gibson, daughter, Ally Finn (Patrick), sons, Kenneth Gibson (Elizabeth) and Jason Gibson all of Columbus, GA, 4 grandchildren, Jason Gibson, Jr., Zoe Gibson, Aria Finn and Penelope Finn.
